- I never finished this design. It has been test fitted on the car, but the mounting is not completely sorted out and needs some extra work
- Treat it as a starting point, not a finished part
What is in the zip

Why I am giving it away
FAQ
How unfinished is it?
Unfinished as in I stopped before finishing it. The shape is there, through seven versions, and it has been test fitted on the car. The mounting is not completely sorted out and needs some extra work.
Will it fit my C8?
It test fitted on mine. Still, treat every dimension in the file as something you check yourself before you cut, drill, or bolt anything.
What should I print it in?
The test-fit piece was exactly that, a fit check, so I never settled on a final material or tuned settings. For anything living under a car, pick a material you trust for heat and abuse, PETG or better.
Can I open it in Fusion 360?
Yes, there is an f3d in the zip. It carries the solid bodies rather than a build history, so you are modeling on top of the shape instead of editing my sketches. The STEP does the same job in SolidWorks, Onshape, and FreeCAD.
What is the second body in the file?
A small companion part, roughly 27 x 19 x 10 mm, that sits with the strake. Every file carries both bodies so you get everything that was in the design.
Do I have to give you my email?
No. It is a direct download. No email, no signup, no account.
