Neither version includes the extinguisher. There is no bottle in the box for either one.
Printed model or aluminum assembly
- The $19 digital set gives you the STL and the DXF, DWG, and STEP fabrication patterns, so you can print the part or cut and machine it from the drawings
- The $100 version is the assembled aluminum mount with the quick-release hardware, the metal setup that ran under the seat
- The printed model from the STL is a printed part and is not claimed to be equivalent to the aluminum assembly. If you print it, how you make and fit it, and whether it is right for holding an extinguisher, is your call. I am not going to tell you a printed part performs the same as the metal one
Check before you buy
- Device and size: it was built around a 2.5 lb extinguisher. Confirm your extinguisher's make and size before you order, as they vary
- Seat and mounting point: it fits the under-seat space in a C8 as I ran it. Check the under-seat space and mounting point in your own car
- Setup: the digital path means printing or cutting your own mount; the aluminum path hands you the assembled mount and hardware
- Uncertain fit: if you are not sure it will hold your extinguisher or fit your car, ask before ordering. Tell me your equipment and I will tell you what I know

- The $100 mount is made to order and, as a physical item, ships from California to United States addresses, tracked. Shipping method, cost, and estimate are shown at checkout. The digital set does not ship
- Physical returns: 30 days after delivery, subject to store policy, buyer covers ordinary return shipping. The digital set is not returned

What is in the $19 digital version?
The STL, plus DXF, DWG, and STEP fabrication patterns, so you can cut or machine the mount from the drawings as well as print it. The extinguisher is not included.
What does the $100 assembled version include?
The assembled aluminum mount and the quick-release hardware. It is the self-fabricated aluminum mount, laser cut via SendCutSend, that held a 2.5 lb extinguisher under the seat in my C8. The extinguisher is not included.
Is the printed model the same as the aluminum mount?
No, and it is not claimed to be equivalent. The printed model from the STL is a printed part; the aluminum mount is the fabricated metal assembly. If you print the model, that judgment is yours, and I would not describe the two as interchangeable.
Is the extinguisher included?
No. Neither version includes the extinguisher, and there is no bottle in the box.
Will it hold my extinguisher?
It was built around a 2.5 lb extinguisher for a C8. Extinguishers vary by make and size, and the car has to be the right model with the right under-seat space. Check your own equipment and mounting point before you order, and ask if you are unsure.
